OUR BOYS
Oaktree Tate (Tater) - (Book Closed)
Tater is qualified for the USBCHA Sheep and Cattle Nursery Finals and Open Cattle Finals 2024
Oaktree Petey
We are just getting started with Petey, so we will see :)
Oaktree Ted
Ted was honored as the OSDA Novice Dog of the Year in 2021. Subsequently, he became difficult to manage, and despite our persistent efforts, we saw no significant improvement. In the racehorse industry, a common practice for such cases is castration, to refocus the animal's attention. Applying this method, I had Ted neutered, which has brought about some change, though he has yet to reach the desired level of behavior. It's possible that maturity will bring further improvement.
OUR GIRLS
Oaktree Ruby
Ruby was on track to qualify for the USBCHA Sheep Nursery Finals, but she sustained a severe leg injury that required surgical repair.
In 2017 she was named the Oklahoma StockDog Association Open Ranch Dog of the Year for Sheep.
In 2018 she was named the Oklahoma StockDog Association Open Dog of the Year for Sheep.

Oaktree Miss T
Miss T qualified for the USBCHA National Cattle Nursery. Ruth directed her on a 20-point outrun followed by a 10-point lift. Despite the distraction of someone putting their fingers in her ears, she missed every drive panel. However, she successfully navigated all the obstacles and completed the pen, being the only dog to do so. Although she didn't make it to the Finals, this achievement is noteworthy. T has excelled in local sheep and cattle trials and is Ruth's preferred dog for farm work.
KLN Button
BButton has come close in many trials, but to use a racehorse term, she remains a maiden.
HATSOFF BELLE - 16 YRS OLD
Belle qualified for the USBCHA Nursery Finals in her prime, and I eventually sold her. When she reached retirement age, I had the chance to purchase her again, and I seized it. I'm grateful that Belle, the sweetheart that she is, can spend her remaining years here with me.
